Orders & Product Care

When will I receive my finished glass piece after a workshop?

Because fused glass requires a precise heating and cooling cycle in the kiln (a process that can take up to 24 hours), your creations won't be ready to take home immediately. We carefully fire and finish your pieces after the workshop. They will typically be ready for collection or posting within 10 to 14 days.

How should I care for fused-glass jewellery and home decor?

To keep your handcrafted glass items looking their best:

  • Glass Jewellery: Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid dropping pieces onto hard surfaces or exposing metallic/silver elements to harsh chemicals or water. All our jewellery is provided with a care card for you on how to look after your jewellry.
  • Cuff Bangles - Clean gently with a soft microfiber cloth, avoid repeated adjusting as this will stress the metal especially on the joints
  • Glass Home Decor & Coasters: Hand wash gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Fused glass pieces are not dishwasher safe and should not be used in the microwave.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival. Standard UK delivery usually takes 3 to 5 business days after your item has been dispatched (or after your workshop piece has finished its firing cycle). Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.- we use Royal Mail tracked 24 once your order is ready to be sent

Can I return an item?

We want you to love your glass artwork! Unused standard retail items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Please note that custom/bespoke commissions and completed workshop experiences are non-refundable. Please see our full policy here especially regarding earrings (can you link it please)

What should I wear to a fused glass workshop?

For safety and comfort, please wear closed-toe shoes (such as trainers or boots—no sandals or open-toed footwear). We recommend wearing comfortable clothes made from natural fibers (like cotton) with fitted sleeves. We supply all necessary safety gear, including protective eyewear.

Can I purchase an at-home fused glass crafting kit if I can't attend a workshop?

These are coming soon, please watch this space! Our DIY at-home fused glass kits will come with pre-cut glass shapes, materials, and step-by-step instructions so you can create at your own pace. Once finished, simply return your piece to our studio using the included return form/label, and we will fire it in our kiln before safely posting the finished artwork back to you.

How does the glass fusing firing process work?

  • Glass fusing is the art of joining pieces of glass together at high temperatures inside a kiln (typically between 700°C and 820°C). Depending on the temperature used, we can achieve different finishes:
  • Full Fusing: Glass melts together completely into a smooth, solid piece.
  • Tack Fusing: Lower temperatures keep the individual glass shapes distinct, creating a textured, 3D relief finish.
  • Slumping: Mold-firing to shape fused glass into bowls, spoon rests, or curved art.

Do you accept custom commissions or bespoke designs?

Absolutely! We love collaborating on bespoke fused glass creations—from personalized gifts, wedding favors, and memorial pieces to custom home decor and silver-set glass jewellery. Contact us with your ideas or visit our shop to discuss your vision, and we’ll provide a custom quote. (can you link to the contact us page)

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my workshop booking?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as possible. Full refunds or free date transfers are available if requested at least 14 days prior to your session. For cancellations made closer to the date, we will do our best to transfer you to an upcoming workshop or provide a gift voucher credit, we may need to charge 50%.
